We are looking for a passionate new colleague to join us as Investment Associate.

Tasks
- Deal Flow: Source the next European Urban Tech success stories by (pro-) actively

engaging with the technology and innovation ecosystem. Get exposure to Europe’s
most disruptive companies through direct contact with the founding teams.
- Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence on new investment opportunities: technology

and product assessment, evaluation of competitive landscape and management
teams financial modeling as well as preparation of investment proposals
- Macro: track key industry trends, including financing and acquisition activity,

product and competitive activity, and other relevant events
- Portfolio Management: support senior investment team members in the management of portfolio companies
- Network & firm building: represent Rivus Capital at industry events / within the

ecosystem and beyond

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in venture capital, venture backed start-up, top tier investment bank or strategy consultancy
- Deep interest in technology and entrepreneurship with the ability to undertake deep dives into complex topics and to develop both own expertise and a valuable

network
- Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment handling multiple workstreams independently at any given time
- Proven analytical and presentation skills
- High-energy team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English, professional proficiency in German is a plus
