**Job Description**:
You will lead the Legal function for the German market (jameda GmbH, with main offices are in Munich and Berlin), and support the rest of the Global Legal team on international matters, in a fast-growing, and exciting environment.

**Areas of responsibility**:

- take ownership of legal, compliance and corporate governance matters relating to jameda in the DocPlanner Group
- manage and advise on the release of product features or new business lines from a legal/regulatory perspective (ensure compliance with all applicable laws)
- work closely with the Data Protection Officer for jameda and the global DocPlanner Privacy team in ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and regulations
- negotiate and manage commercial legal work (contracts for clients, suppliers, partners, website terms and conditions, etc.)
- support the business on the negotiations of legal aspects of M&A processes, strategic partnership, key commercial agreements and other corporate and business development initiatives
- act as legal business partner to various departments; build strong relationships across the organisation; manage outside counsel
- partner with Head of HR and C-levels on day-to-day employee-related matters requiring legal support in German, including in relation to senior management
- work with the Head of Quality Management to manage (with the support of external counsel) any litigation and regulatory complaints processes affecting the German entity
- manage and foresee business risks and opportunities by regularly reviewing changes in the regulatory/legal environment manage and foresee business risks and opportunities by performing regular horizon scanning of the regulatory and legal environment in which the business operates.
- support the rest of the DocPlanner Group’s Legal team, and senior management, with any Legal queries.

**Qualifications**:
**If you**:

- have excellent communication and drafting skills, both in English and German (knowledge of Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish or Turkish would be a plus)
- are a qualified lawyer in Germany
- possess 2-5+ years of experience (indicative only) as a business lawyer/legal counsel, either in a law firm or in-house (tech company experience a plus), having focused on one or more of the following areas (cross-border experience a plus): commercial law, corporate/M&A, corporate governance, finance, tech sector regulation, intellectual property, data protection, healthcare sector regulation
- make quick decisions with good business judgment (balancing both legal and commercial aspects)
- are detail-oriented and well-organised
- can clearly demonstrate your ability to be proactive without continuous supervision
- have strong interpersonal skills
- are hungry for challenges and seek constant learning / embrace frequent change
