Zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt suchen wir Dich als Head of Operations (w/m/d) für die Abteilung Global Projects & Industry Solutions (GPIS) am Standort Düsseldorf.

Bei Global Project & Industry Solutions (GPIS) erarbeitest Du mit erfahrenen Spezialisten von DB Schenker individuelle und innovative Transportlösungen, abgestimmt auf die Anforderungen und Bedürfnisse unserer Projekt-/EPC-Kunden via Land, Luft & See.

**Deine Aufgaben**:

- Als Head of Operations organisierst Du die operativen Prozesse in unserem Team und überwachst die speditionelle Abwicklung im Tagesgeschäft
- Gemeinsam mit dem Team wickelst Du besonders anspruchsvolle weltweite Übermaß- und/ oder Schwerguttransporte per Seefracht und anderen Verkehrsträgern auch eigenhändig ab
- Dabei verantwortest Du die Ratenverhandlungen mit Carriern sowie den Einkauf, die Disposition, die Buchung von Frachtraum und stellst die ordnungsgemäße Abwicklung, Dokumentation und Abrechnung im Team sicher
- Du bearbeitest komplexe Projektanfragen
- und Ausschreibungen unserer Großkunden federführend und erstellst gemeinsam mit unserem Team die entsprechenden Offerten

**Dein Profil**:

- Du hast eine erfolgreich abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Transport/Logistik oder ein fachbezogenes Studium
- Du bringst Begeisterung für logistische Themen, die Bereitschaft, Verantwortung zu übernehmen und Interesse an der Weiterentwicklung des eigenen Fachwissens mit
- Du konntest bereits einschlägige speditionelle Projekterfahrung mit Schwerpunkt Seefracht und verkehrsträgerübergreifende Erfahrungen im Bereich weltweiter Übermaß- und/ oder Schwerguttransporte sammeln
- Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift sowie sichere Anwenderkenntnisse von MS Office sind für Dich selbstverständlich
