**Senior Expeditor**

**€488 per day + 40 - 48hr week + mileage + overnight accommodation + min 12 month contract**

**Locations: Lindau, Bruchsal, Mannheim**

A global organisation employing more than 55,000 individuals, is looking to engage with a **Senior Expeditor**who’s remit will be to:

- Support the timely delivery of categorized project plant equipment and contractor document deliverables to the agreed location and on-time.
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues with contractors and represent the group at meetings.
- Manage risk, perform schedule analysis, and ensure that schedule critical equipment and materials are suitably prioritized.
- Provide expediting support at manufacturers’ premises.
- Report regularly on contract package status to the Expediting Supervisor.
- Escalate issues which adversely affect delivery of critical equipment.
- Track and challenge progress in workshop and consistency of the schedule.
- Issue Expediting reports after each visit providing Status of procurement, document and manufacturing progress etc.
- Update material management system with latest forecast dates and comments.
- Oversight of the inspection points to ensure they are well managed.
- Work with contractor and other parties in the design and implementation of recovery plans.
- Consolidate information for the Shipment Authorisation Request / Advance Shipment Notice and liaise with relevant parties to ensure delivery/shipping can proceed.

**Scope**:
Lindau
- Scope = Chillers plus auxiliary equipment (silencers/fans/etc).
- Visit to T1 = 1day/week (increased to 2-3days/week on occasion).
- Visits to critical T2s = as required (within 1-2hrs of Lindau).
- Duration = current forecast to end 2026.

Bruchsal
- Scope = EVU motors and classified pumps & DEL pumps.
- Visits to T1, as required (1/month).
- Visits to critical T2s in France on an ad hoc nature
- Duration = current forecast to end of 2025.

Mannheim
- Scope = Main Steam Safety Valves & Main Steam Relief Isolation Valves.
- Visits to T1, as required (1/month).
- Critical T2s (in particular, France); this may be covered by an existing field expeditor who will report into this vacant position.
- Duration = current forecast to end Q3 2025.
- Scope supported by existing lead valve expeditor.

**Senior Expeditor**profile;
- Project Engineer / Site Ops Engineer experience, is preferred. _Being an understanding of many/all aspects of the scope (technical, quality, etc), and a tendency to challenge both internally and externally._
- Schedule driven, able to report against plan/forecast/critical path.
- Understanding of welding, NDT, pressure equipment regulations (PER), workshop safety/capacity/resourcing/mitigation.
- Must be a proactive individual; organised; accountable for their own performance; able to quickly build relationships at all levels of the supplier organisations; and ready to be challenged.
- German speaker beneficial, English is mandatory.
