Kitchen Porter

Responsible for:

- Washing and sorting of plates, cups, cutlery and cooking equipment;
- Storage and sorting of food;
- Safety and cleanliness of all kitchen and storage areas;
- Disposal of rubbish and waste.

Main activities:

- Clean all dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and equipment;
- Keep all work areas, cool-rooms, storerooms and rear areas clean, swept, hosed and tidy;
- Control the use of chemicals in the kitchen;
- Receive and sort supplies and deliveries;
- Follow proper hygienic food handling practices as directed;
- Putting paper on the boards and making salad bowls up when needed;
- Organize the disposal of rubbish;
- Organize the sorting of recycling materials;
- Work safely and advise others to work safely;
- Maintain the kitchen equipment;
- Ensure good communication within the kitchen and with the floor staff;

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: 11.00€ - 13.00€ per hour
