Project Pursuit Leader

We are looking for a technically inclined and commercially minded Project Pursuit Leader with responsibility for the development of competitive displacement initiatives within modernization or new system integration.
**In this role, your responsibilities with be**:
- Develop and lead new sales initiatives and work with current clients in upgrading their systems.
- Proactively work with country sales organizations to identify project pursuit opportunities with the goal of meeting and exceeding agreed targets.
- Coach and mentor country sales teams to improve the chances for success in competitive displacement opportunities.
- Explore new markets where we do not have a full-time presence.
- Own the qualification process of potential projects to enable management to decide whether they should be pursued.
- Develop marketing campaigns and collateral in conjunction with the Business Unit Marketing department.
- Develop Sponsors and Power Sponsors, identifying their Pain and craft the business value message.
- Provide sales intelligence to enable the production of a winning proposal.
- Handle commercial and technical negotiations with customer and sub-vendors to ensure the project is won.
**Who you are**:
You adapt quickly to changing conditions. You relate comfortably with people across levels, functions, cultures, and geography. We are ideally looking for someone from Germany, Holland or Belgium, but we are open to any European countries as long as you live close to an airport.
**For this role, you will need**:
- Degree in Engineering, Electromechanical or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Execution, Technical Lead, Technical Consulting, or equivalent experience with Competitive Distributed Control Systems.
- Knowledge of Siemens PLC and DCS Technology is a key requirement for this role.
- Consultative selling skills to assist customers in identifying, prioritizing, and upholding projects.
- Excellent customer presentation skills.
- Proficiency in German and English Language.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- Proficiency in any other European languages (Italian, French, Spanish).
- experience working with matrix organization.
