**About the role**:
As a Director Lead Generation & Growth Marketing, you will be responsible for building Billie’s Growth Marketing Team, driving strategy, setting priorities, expanding capability, and delivering on ambitious acquisition goals. You’ll actively help your team create, manage, and improve on highly effective lead generation campaigns, closely collaborating with your peers and colleagues in Sales, Brand & Product Marketing, and Communications Team. You will have executive accountability for all digital performance marketing channels, including paid search, social and display advertising, retargeting, affiliate marketing as well as analytics and insights and event marketing and executing on partner marketing initiatives. You will work with Billie’s executive team to set Billie’s long-term growth strategies and guide the company’s growth trajectory to new inflection points. Your unique challenge will be striking a balance between acquiring leads and opportunities for the problem we solve today, and helping us build a strong funnel of interest around the new product category we’ll create - and own - tomorrow.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Work with the Executive, Enterprise, SMB, Talent Operations, and other key teams across the company to set and execute the roadmap for Billie’s short
- and long-term growth plans.
- Identify marketing channels, solutions and ideas that will efficiently drive new leads to the Billie brand and lead to customer growth and retention while guiding the prioritisation of Growth Marketing-related initiatives as the actions and teams scale.
- Determine the KPIs and build the dashboards that each functional area of the Growth Marketing Team needs to execute effectively in the context of the larger functional goals.
- Driving strategic decisions based on incrementally tests to optimize channel-mix, CPA, and budgets while ensuring a Consistent delivery on lead, MQL and opportunity targets
- Own the tracking and reporting on lead gen metrics including financial forecasts and projections that relate to the cost and return on investment for experiments, both large and small and the measuring, and analysing of campaign performances and their business impact.
- Work closely with your peers in Sales to ensure commercial targets are met, their insights are incorporated in our campaigns and collaborate with them on leads follow-up and conversion opportunities.
- Build joint Sales and Marketing processes to support regional marketing activities, such as partner events, workshops, webinars, etc.
- Attract, coach, and empower talented individual contributors for the lead gen team
- Create effective training on growth-related topics such as SEO, SEM, funnel optimisation, digital marketing, and other related areas in order to ensure all of the relevant stakeholders are properly educated on how to infuse growth tactics into their content, initiatives, and products with maximum impact.
- Ensure the team is maximising the impact of all growth experiments by maintaining organised playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards that track the states and thresholds related to each experiment.
**Who we are looking for**:
- You have 8+ years of experience in acquisition or growth marketing in the B2B space or a related discipline, ideally in fintech or financial services-related organisations.
- You have demonstrated experience growing revenue at scale via growth marketing within a B2B technology or services company and already led cross-functional teams within the field of acquisition marketing in a scale-up environment for at least 2 years.
- You demonstrate thought leadership capabilities and a strong ability to think and communicate strategically on the future of B2B e-commerce and payments, yet you show strong execution skills.
