**Details of the role and how it fits into the team**

Deutsche Bank is exposed to a number of risks on a daily basis. The Risk function has group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market & operational risks. Credit Risk Management (CRM) is an independent credit approval and monitoring function within Deutsche Bank.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Providing challenge to front office/first line of defense; credit approval in line with applicable credit authority, escalating where appropriate.
- Support ancillary processes to deal monitoring and credit approvals, such as handling internal/external audit requests, assisting in the calculation of risk weighted assets process, portfolio stress testing, watchlist and monthly performance monitoring, as required.
- Develop constructive working relationships within respective credit risk, infrastructure (e.g. Finance, Risk Methodologies, Credit Ops) and front office functions.
- Participating/contributing to various conference meetings and monitoring quorums; may involve presentation of work results to decision-makers/working groups/senior credit officers.

**Your skills and experiences**
- University degree (University, Fachhochschule or Berufsakadamie) preferably in Finance, Business, Accounting or Economics or suitable equivalent.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English is essential).
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced IT skills (Microsoft Excel and/or VBA).
- An ambitious and highly driven professional who is able to set priorities and work under pressure with a high degree of independence.
