The Purchasing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Nikkiso’s procurement operations by ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. This position serves as a key link between suppliers and internal departments, helping to maintain supply continuity, optimize inventory levels, and uphold quality standards. The role contributes directly to the efficiency and reliability of the supply chain, supporting both production and strategic initiatives at the Neuenburg site.

Verantwortungsbereiche:
**Essential Functions/Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate daily purchasing activities for raw materials, components, and services.
- Maintain accurate purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm availability, lead times, and pricing.
- Collaborate with internal departments (production, quality, logistics) to align purchasing with operational needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed.
- Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, and quality concerns with suppliers.
- Maintain procurement records and documentation in ERP systems.
- Support audits and compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Qualifikationen:
**Education and Experience**:

- Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with a focus on procurement or supply chain.
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or supply chain coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
