The CureVac RNA Printer GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of CureVac, for the development of The RNA Printer®, a product-solution for integrated and highly automated production of GMP-grade RNA vaccines and therapeutics, enabling broad access to mRNA technology using a highly automated production platform.
The RNA Printer® is designed to accelerate the transition of innovative product concepts from academia to the clinic in a variety of therapeutic areas. The RNA Printer's high level of automation enables a fast, robust, flexible, and cost-effective solution for mRNA production.
To strengthen our team in Tübingen near Stuttgart, we are currently looking to recruit a
**Scientist - RNA Printer (f/m/d)**
**Your responsibilities**:
- Independent development of novel manufacturing processes for both DNA and RNA
- Optimization of DNA and RNA Synthesis steps
- Development of novel downstream purification approaches
- Improve process understanding by implementation of Process Analytical Technologies
- Exploration manufacturability of novel DNA /RNA constructs
- Planning, execution, interpretation and documentation of experiments
- Authoring of SOPs and Development Reports
- Devise and evaluate GMP-compliant manufacturing strategies incl. intellectual property protection
- Presentation of results at department meetings and conferences
- Support cross-functional projects within the RNA Printer teams
**Your qualifications**:
- PhD or equivalent degree in Life Science (Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry)
- Several years of practical experience with nucleic acids
- Experience with different spectroscopic techniques
- Experience in analytical and/or preparative purification of biomolecules by chromatography and UF/DF by TFF
- Ideally also experience in protein biochemistry and/or enyzmatic processes
- Proactive, structured, efficient and independent way of working in a dynamic environment
- Excellent team spirit, communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English is a must, German is a plus
