Travelzoo has an opening for a Marketing Assistant. This position, based in Berlin, will report to the Director of Marketing, Germany.

- Motivated to plan, create, and schedule content for all major social media platforms to drive traffic and engagement

- Capable of troubleshooting and making editorial decisions about how and what to post on social media during periods of quick-changing information
- Keen to respond and interact with our member community to build brand loyalty
- Determined to keep up to date with social media developments and drive channel innovation
- Confident to help the team with campaign set-ups across all key marketing and PR channels including affiliates, search, display, and press
- Dedicated to managing day-to-day campaign reporting and analysis to help improve performance
- Empowered to get involved in all content-marketing initiatives to support team objectives and priorities
- Inspired by an agile environment that provides opportunities for learning new skills and changing priorities as the market moves
- Empowered to collaborate with cross-functional and global colleagues to coordinate and align on key projects
- Able to regularly identify trends in the wider market through regular reading of relevant publications and competitor monitoring

**You are ideally**
- Degree educated (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience)
- A rising professional with 1-2 years of relevant marketing experience
- Interested in pursuing a career in marketing and keen to develop your skillset
- Knowledgeable and fluent on social media platforms and how they work
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Able to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- An excellent verbal and written communicator
- A data-driven thinker
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office 365 suite, and have experience using Excel for campaign reporting and analysis
- Able to deal with a changing industry and pivot/re-prioritize quickly
- Someone who uses initiative to seek out opportunities to maximise performance
