PRODUCT OWNER AUTOMOTIVE (W/F/D)

YOUR TASKS
- Responsible for managing agile SW development, working closely with Software Engineers, Software Project Managers, and/or Software Quality Engineers with diverse capability levels in the design of new products and/or features, enhancement of existing designs, and development of test procedures
- Coordinate and participate in generating software requirements and designs for a feature, product, or family of products in accordance with Garmin’s software development methodology
- Participate in software design reviews as necessary, assuring proper attendees and proper coverage of topics, imparting lessons learned and good design practices to all who attend
- Create product development plans as directed by engineering management
- Ensure the team meets overall development goals in accordance with the product development plan or market requirements and ensure project milestones are met
- Monitor progress of the software teams in meeting product/feature requirements and schedule compliance through official and unofficial reports
- Set the tone for the team environment and build healthy team relationships
- Develop schedule and release milestones based on overall product schedule that meets customer delivery expectations
- Support customer and internal management communication regarding overall development progress and issues/risks

YOUR PROFIL
- Requirements_
- BSc in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other similar technical field
- Must possess a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the Agile Software Development Life Cycle
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others under challenging circumstances
- Desirable Qualifications_
- Certified PO
- Embedded SW Development Expertise
- Expertise with JAMA, or any other requirements gathering tool
- Automotive OEM experience with either automotive manufacturer or tier 1 or 2 supplier
- Experience with Vehicle SW Architecture, AUTOSAR, OS, RTOS, Real time programming, device driver development
- Experience with cross functional realization of Software Architecture in SoC with Linux and Classic AUTOSAR
- Experience with software based on AUTOSAR for multiple functional blocks
