**Your Challenge**
Your Key Responsibilities
- Claims handling of shipping issues and arbitration
- Legal consultancy and support for Chartering and Operations
- Technical and financial assessment of potential counterparts (vessels, Owners, Operators)
- Legal review of charter parties and other shipping related contracts and clauses.
- Giving advice regarding marine insurance
- Administrating claims

**Your Profile**
- University degree, preferably a law degree, preferably in English law and/or a degree in Nautical Science (or a similar qualification), together with
- Comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge of maritime law, charter parties and marine insurance contracts
- Commercial sense and understanding
- Minimum of 5 years practical experience in managing and administering Admiralty, Marine Claims, P&I and/or Cargo matters, preferably gained in former employments as claims manager at P&I clubs, marine insurance broker or shipping company
- Fluent English, further languages welcome
- An autonomous, responsible and task-orientated way of working and good communication skills and of course an open minded team-player.
