They offer a flexible and hybrid working model within Germany, with the opportunity to use their inspirational and modern work environment in their brand-new headquarter. **Senior Security Officer** **What to expect**: - Developing the worldwide security strategy and roadmap in collaboration with all pertinent business lines, stakeholders, and the Director of Security. - Assuming control of technical implementation initiatives, as well as control over quality, money, and schedule - Directing and serving as the only point of contact for outside suppliers and partners in technical implementation projects - Assuming responsibility for the planning and execution of security policies and procedures that connect people with technology to reduce cybersecurity risks in a timely, high-quality, and cost-effective manner. - promote a "secure first" mentality through training and cross-functional awareness programs. - Keeping an eye on and guaranteeing adherence to security guidelines. - Handling, minimising, and responding to security issues. - Working together with other departments to identify and rank technical security requirements in line with the company's global security strategy. - Develop a technological security strategy by converting business demands into technical and procedural requirements. - Orienting, guiding, and teaching the security team's young and seasoned employees. **Your Profile**: - Minimum of five years’ experience in IT infrastructure, security, and/or a setting that prioritises production. - 8 years minimum of professional experience in security infrastructure, operations technology, or both. - It is advantageous to have prior Information Security Officer (ISO) expertise. - Self-starter mindset and readiness to directly influence present and future global security strategies. - Having the ability to direct an international team in both strategic and technical projects. - An advantage is having prior experience working with nearshore resources. - Excellent communication skills and the capacity to serve as a liaison between the Director of Security, internal IT departments, and business divisions. - Certifications in security (such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CISA) or a desire to certify. - The capacity to recognise, enact, and promote market innovation in the IT security industry. - A strong network in the security industry and great vendor expertise based on technology. - Superior, appropriately levelled communication and presenting abilities. - Outstanding proficiency in both German and English. - The applicant should be capable of and willing to travel up to 40% of the time. **Benefits**: - Flexible working models - 30 days annual leave and additional days - Mobile working - Attractive compensation - Opportunities to advance your education and training - In depth onboarding - Discounted food - Company pension plan
