- As our Head of Finance (f/m/x), you will join nuventura just after moving into new international markets, building our own factory in Berlin and in India and growing our business significantly. You will strongly professionalize our finance organization and collaborate with the management team.
- **You will....**be responsible for all our accounting efforts and further develop the accounting and controls set-up to facilitate our international expansion
- own the reporting package
- align accounting philosophy and accounts across entities
- be involved in our monthly closings, annual financial statements, consolidation across multiple entities, as well as internal and external reporting preparation
- be monitoring and developing processes around banking/treasury, accounts payable/receivable, and tax
- closely collaborate with our international external tax offices (we have accounting in-house) regarding closing and audit preparation
- be the sparring partner for implementing the ERP accounting solution in the next 6 months
- act as an internal POC for all financial questions as well as contribute to crossfunctional projects
- prepare and maintain (ad hoc) analyses as needed
- analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to colleagues on demand
- ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations for all entities
- reconcile all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the internal requirements

**What you need to bring in**:
***Demonstrated experience in successfully building up the accounting function, ideally in a growth startup environment. Experience in leading the function is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit/assurance, management consulting or similar
- Strong understanding of German HGB accounting as well as IFRS
- Experience with accounting and accounting related tools, Datev, Sage, Exact, QuickBooks or similar
- Experience in reporting and planning tools, like Adaptive, Anaplan, Lucanet or similar
- Experience with finance related workflows and cross functional process definition in an ERP System is a plus
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic professional environment
- A structured, results-oriented, and self-driven way of approaching tasks
- Fluency in English and German
