**_FRIEDENSDORF INTERNATIONAL_** works to help children from crisis regions who do not receive adequate medical care in their home countries. These children are temporarily admitted to Germany for medical treatment, where they are cared for free by hospital operators and doctors and then discharged to the Friedensdorf residential and nursing facility for post-operative care. The necessary physiotherapy is carried out in the Friedensdorf rehabilitation department. The physiotherapy treatments must also be tailored to the conditions that the children will find when they return to their home countries. After medical treatment has been completed, the children are returned to their home countries after a few months and handed over to their families there together with the local partner organizations. In order to ensure the further course of recovery and the continuation of treatment in the home countries, appropriate documentation of the medical reports is required.

The outpatient procedure room carries out minor surgical procedures such as hand surgery, plastic surgery, minor orthopedic procedures, as well as removal of fixators or plates in the **_FRIEDENSDORF_**.

For this work area in **_the FRIEDENSDORF_** we are looking for an applicant who can provide proof of working as a nurse. The following qualifications would be an advantage:

- Operating Room Assistant (OTA)
- anesthesiology technical assistant (ATA)

**Your tasks**:

- Preparatory development and implementation of the operating room and hygiene management so that the operating room will be ready for use as quickly as possible
- preparation and follow-up of the operating rooms
- Documentation of operations and administrative activities
- Willingness to work in a team and interest in working with volunteers in voluntary work or internships from different generations and cultural backgrounds
- a high degree of empathy, resilience, flexibility and organizational skills
- Enjoy interacting with children from different countries and cultures
