**Academic staff member at the debt counseling center**:
- full-time (100 %)
- The Debtor Counseling Center serves as a research and documentation centre for consumer insolvency and debt counselling, primarily to provide information to the recognised debtor and insolvency advice centres Rhineland-Palatinate.**Your tasks**:
- Scientific support and advice for the debt counselling centres recognized in Rhineland-Palatinate on legal issues relating to enforcement law, insolvency law, general civil law and social law
- Organization of further education and training for debt counsellors
- Independent research on a doctoral or post-doctoral project
- Publication of scientific publications in specialist journals and presentations of own research results at conferences and workshops
- Conducting your own courses
**Your profile**:
- In addition to the general requirements under employment law, applicants must meet the recruitment requirements set out in Section 57 of the Rhineland-Palatinate Higher Education Act.
- a successfully completed academic university degree in law or with a strong focus on social law (Master's degree)
- with the aim of habilitation a successfully completed doctorate in law or social sciences is required
- second state examination in law is an advantage
- very good written and spoken German language skills
