**You’ll be powering our Due Diligence and Investigations DACH Team**
As part of the Due Diligence and Investigations Team in the Anti Financial Crime (AFC) organization you’ll join an open and sharing community with highly skilled colleagues. You can come as you are and be at your best at Nets.
The Due Diligence and Investigations Team is in charge of the escalation process within complex Know-Your-Customer (KYC) cases provided by Sales and the Operations departments, providing guidance to before-mentioned departments, driving all efforts to ensure compliant processes and their further improvement/development e.g. KYC-process, Ongoing Due Diligence (ODD) or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) for Nets to meet the strategic AML goals.
The Due Diligence and Investigations Specialist is the first contact person for our frontlines e.g. Sales and Operations teams to give clear guidance on the handling of complex KYC-cases. This role will be a strong driver for both developing and further optimization of existing processes according to the current German AML regulation.
You will report to the KYC Team Leader.
More specifically your responsibilities include:
- Follow established written procedures and guidelines, provide technical and analytical support to our frontlines
- Use established techniques to analyse and assess complex customer cases, support problems/initiatives requiring exception handling and/or coordination of multiple stakeholders and/or product/services specialists to resolve
- Assist with managing projects and/or implementation of new initiatives, systems, products and services and processes coordination across multiple business functions
- Assess and analyse Know Your Customer (KYC) information
- Perform enhanced due diligence as required by AML policy
- Managing the coordination of workflow to the business to ensure timely resolutions
- Serve as the first point of contact for our frontlines, 2LoD and Management
- Supporting the Pep & Sanction Screening and related escalations
**Qualifications**:
Skills and experience:
- 3-5years of experience working KYC/AML processes, ideally within the financial services sector with focus on B2B clients
- Experience in Pep & Sanction Screening
- Detail oriented and a strong analytical skill set
- Strong communication and presentation skills, verbally and in writing, as you will be required to communicate with people with diverse skill sets and seniority across Nets
- Strong in English and German, both spoken and in writing
