Head Dmpk

We are looking for a **Head of DMPK / in Vitro** for one of our clients, based in Berlin, to join its Preclinical Compound Profiling Department and lead strategically and operationally this department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee personnel activities, customer interactions, investment and capacity allocation, and all aspects of in vitro DMPK activities in integrated projects.
- Lead a group of several PhDs and lab technicians to perform in vitro pharmacokinetic experiments to characterize compound characteristics such as distribution, stability, metabolizing enzymes, transporter characteristics, and interaction risk.
- Oversee project specific screening strategies and guide the team to develop links to in vivo data.
- Interact with potential new clients, in collaboration with Business Development, to build strong client relationships and address their specific needs.
- Ensure high quality data to promote accountability and recognition of scientific soundness by internal and external customers.
- Also ensure a high level of productivity while maintaining the company's high ethical standards for laboratory safety and data integrity.
- Develop new methods and anticipate future customer demands to provide cutting edge science.

**Your profile**:

- PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacy with long term experience in Pharmaceutical Drug Discovery & Development
- Strong knowledge of DMPK and ADME fields as well as solid understanding and hands-on experience in the entire Drug Discovery and Development environment & processes
- Deep understanding of in vitro models and the interconnectivity of data sets from in vitro and in vivo experiments
- Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Fluency in English
