**About the role**
You have a great opportunity to join our iptiQ claims team with over 100 years of experience in the claims space.
We have 3 exciting focus areas:
- Innovate and document complete new transformational customer centric claims handling processes,
- Help in designing end to end claims journeys in the Motor and Household space for new Partners, and
- Handle claims, lead our Service Partners, and support our External Claims Handlers.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Support the Senior Claims Handler in the development of the claims service offering: optimization of workflows, fraud detection rules, streamline or setting up new processes
- Handle claims for Germany in the P & C area and decide independently on coverage and liability issues within your authority limits
- Work closely with our service providers and are actively involved in the development of our claims management system
- Communicate and negotiate actively with all parties involved in the claims process
**About the team**

We use the Swiss Re network to access state of the art technologies and capabilities, combine it with local expertise and an innovative mind-set, constantly questioning current ways of offering insurance. Our aim is to drive the digitalization of the P&C insurance business in Europe, combining insurance know-how and e-commerce competencies, as well as the dynamic spirit of a start-up with the backing of Swiss Re.
You will work in a team with over 100 years of insurance claims experience where we are eager to transform and digitalize the claims experience to above and beyond todays' standards. You will be reporting to Head of Claims in Zurich and the position is located in Munich, Germany.
**About you**:
- You have completed training as an insurance clerk / you have completed training in the insurance industry
- You speak fluent or native German, you have good working knowledge in English, you speak an additional European language
- You have already gained experience in different lines of insurance, you have at least 3 years of experience with claims processing
- You are emphatic and always have an open ear for your customers
- You are able to participate in technical discussion with partners and internal stakeholders
- You have the ability to influence other stakeholders with your knowledge and your negotiation skills
- You are a team player and support your colleagues in the processing of P&C claims
