YOUR MISSION

**Responsibilities**
- Design and synthesize novel small molecules for drug discovery
- Analyze structure-activity relationships (SAR) to optimize hit and lead compounds
- Guide tailored screening library design for small molecule hit generation campaigns
- Develop and improve synthetic routes for target molecules through external partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional Proteros teams and its customers
- Leading project planning and decision-making processes
- Present research findings to internal teams and external customers
- Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies

YOUR PROFILE
- Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry
- Strong knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry
- Familiarity with molecular modeling and cheminformatics tools
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
