**This position is located in Crolles, France.**

**Introduction**

In your role as Director of module engineering, you are responsible for managing the business of a high volume manufacturing production facility consisting of multiple modules. Your objective is to coordinate with our partners to achieve the required output, cost and quality from the facility. To achieve your targets you are the leader of approx. 20 local employees with responsibilities and high focus on engineering and maintenance areas. A special focus will be the coordination and organization required to ramp, in collaboration with our partners.

**Essential Responsibilities**
- Strong focus on enabling customers with manufacturing success, delivering excursion-free supply chain stability with advanced technology nodes
- Prioritizing resources and conflicting objectives to ensure high impact deliverables to drive manufacturing excellence
- Lead, manage and responsible for the Fab Engineering resources, as well as ensure the proper planning of manpower resources. (right hiring to meet Fab need)
- Set goals, track & drive performance indicators for the Fab and at the same time, ensure good communication/passdown of Company and Fab direction to the ground level # Drive improvement activities in the Fab to enhance productivity, increase efficiency and improve quality performance, equipment/FDC controls, and process solutions
- Manage production cycle time, work in progress (WIP) and inventory
- Drive towards reducing manufacturing cost
- Establish and maintain strategic partnership with key customers and sub-contractors
- Plan & forecast annual capital & expense budgeting of the Fab to align with Company direction. At the same time, ensure that individual department Profit and Loss stays within budget
- Responsible and plan for succession for all critical management positions in the Fab
- Responsible to plan and execute career development goals and training for the employees
- Encourage cross-Fabs/ Departments sharing/benchmarking of best practices
- Drives inter-Fabs/ Departments to foster a strong and cordial working relationship
- Ensure discipline in terms of ensuring employees follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Establish new business opportunities to ensure the continuity of Fab Operation
- Data-driven decision-making with rapid and effective problem-solving to deliver solutions for difficult problem-sets
- Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.

**Other Responsibilities**
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

**Required Qualifications**
- MS degree majoring in Physics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemistry or a related field
- 10 years’ technical and managerial experience in a semiconductor environment with budgetary control and personnel responsibility
- Solid manufacturing fundamentals in areas of factory physics, manufacturing control and equipment excellence
- High knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process
- Fluency in English Language - written & verbal (strong preference given to French fluency)
- Strong organizational skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
- Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Good leadership and motivational abilities
- Good analytical skills and vision oriented
- Good customer relationship skills
- Ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
- Good representative competence for local and global representation
