Advanced Supply Chain are looking to welcome a safety oriented individual who takes accountability for the safety of how a site is run as well as training colleagues in the understanding of safety in a workplace.

Our Safety Maintenance Manager will be at the forefront of creating and preserving an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected. Within this role you’ll be actively ensuring that employers and workers are complying with safety legislation and that safety policies and practices are adopted and adhered to. You’ll also be accountable for the daily running of all site-based facilities and reactive maintenance whilst managing and creating a safe and efficient working environment that improves business performance and optimises staff productivity.

This is a full-time permanent position working directly at our site based in Nettetal, Germany and in return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up-to €40,000 as well as a comprehensive onboarding programme from day 1.

**Key responsibilities of our Safety Maintenance Manager**:

- Be actively involved in the site risk reduction process & a champion for the My Compliance Health & Safety software
- Help facilitate the site H&S meeting with the sites GM & be an ambassador for the H&S communication / message to site
- Actively get involved in site incidents, identifying root causes & mitigating the risks, reporting them through My Compliance software.
- Ensure that all aspects of property and facilities are fit for purpose, legally compliant, accountable, auditable as well as ethically, environmentally, and socially responsible
- Recommend and help to implement measures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental issues are prioritised and facilitated
- Monthly conditions report to be issued for each site to ensure budgetary assumptions are correct / require review: Capex, Opex & Dilapidations

**What we need from our Safety Maintenance Manager**:

- Experience with facility management and relevant regulations
- Multi-site experience
- A qualification in Health & Safety, such as NEBOSH level 6 or IOSH equivalent, would be an advantage
- Environmental qualification/experience of ISO 14001 implementation would be an advantage
- Able to communicate both written and verbal in German and English
- Demonstrable record of driving significant change through an operation
