Greenerity is located in the Industrial Area Süd (Alzenau) and is active in the research, development, production and sales of key components for PEM fuel cells and PEM electrolysis.

Our owner, the Toray Group, is an international group of companies with core competences in the fields of têxtile fabrics, carbon fibers and high tech polymers. Greenerity´s focus is the membrane-electrode-assembly (MEA), which enables the electrochemical conversion of hydrogen and oxygen to electricity and water through catalytic processes.

The market is currently transitioning from demonstration to fast growth. We are looking for you as an expert in the area of MEA Development for Fuel Cell and Water Electrolysis, with strong focus on advanced polymer materials.

**Main tasks**
- Development of MEAs, starting from selection of key MEA materials and components, including carrying out experiments & literature searches
- Definition of property-function relationships required to orient material developments in line with market needs
- Development of novel ex
- and in-situ test methods, analysis of performance and durability-inhibiting factors, especially related to polymeric components, investigation of improved concepts
- Contribution to creation of new IP
- Technical interaction with customers and/or market-facing functions, discussion of short
- to long-term needs and agreement on product specifications

**Your Profile**
- PhD in Chemistry or Physics or similar, or equivalent qualification in the field
- Strong background and experience in the area of Material Science and in particular of Polymer Science and engineering
- First experience in protection of intellectual property
- Self-reliant, motivated work ethic and commitment to your task
- Team player and ability to maintain a high standard
- Fluent in English
