Job Requirements

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze and consolidate financial statements and reports, annual report, and budgets to provide insights into business performance and trends.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures.
- Perform Reconciliation and Cashflow and Asset analysis.
- Support management decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial audits and (VAT) tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Controlling, Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in accounting and controlling roles, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements according to HGB. Experience with US GAAP is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software with ERP systems (Navision and / or OneStream is preferred)
- Excellent skills in MS Excel
- Very good command of English
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong team player with a hands-on approach and collaborative mindset.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
