In Göttingen, Germany, we develop, design and manufacture highly complex DPSS and excimer lasers, suitable beam delivery systems and machines for industrial production. In our R&D department with around 80 employees we would like to offer students the opportunity of a master's thesis:
**Tasks**
- Processing of a jointly defined project for a master thesis in the field of excimer laser development with focus on diagnostics of the laser discharge process
- Common conception of the work to be carried out
- Working in the laboratory
- Documentation and presentation of results
- Evaluation of results using current literature
- Getting to know our diverse products and processes

Education and Work Experience:
**Qualifications**
- Great interest, first experiences and fun in laboratory work
- Basic knowledge in design of lasers, optical set-ups and in theory of gas discharges
- Student of physics, photonics or similar
- Good knowledge of English
- Independent and proactive way of working
- Certificate of enrollment, time for a practical thesis
