This is where you work
- You will work in our new office building located in Koblenz (with the option of mobile

working) and will be part of a multi-cultural, open-minded, and dynamic team.
- The Finance department which sits in Corporate Services is a core support function for

Cox Automotive across Europe.
- The Finance team has responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the business,

ensuring appropriate controls and governance measures are in place to minimise risk as
well as providing in depth managing reporting and analytics to drive business decisions.
- Further to the above, the Finance team is core to the delivery of strategic change,

providing appropriate support as and when required.
- This role will be responsible for the EU accounting requirements across the businesses

based in the EU including Modix.
This is what you do
This is a great opportunity for someone to join and work as part of the finance team. You will be
responsible for a variety of accounting responsibilities, including:

- Reconciliation of accounts payable and supporting relevant month-end close activities
- Maintaining vendor information and processing of incoming invoices
- Processing of the monthly advance VAT return
- Month and year end accounting including processing transactions, balance sheet support and reconciliations
- Posting and reconciliation of bank account transactions
- Completion of reports required by Europe and US teams to support the monthly an

annual financial information
- Dealing with queries from internal customers and external vendors
- Supporting the annual accounts and audit process working closely with the Head of

Finance and auditors
Objectives for the role
- Delivery of accurate monthly financial accounts/reporting within the required deadlines
- Participation in the annual statutory audit and accounts process
- Ownership of areas of Balance Sheet Integrity ensuring appropriate controls are implemented to manage risk

These are your abilities
- You have successfully completed a commercial vocational training or training as a tax

clerk
- Professional experience in accounts payable or finance and accounting
- Strong IT skills (particularly MS Excel)
- Solid German and English written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to details
