**General Summary**:
This role is responsible for providing leadership and support for Human Resources functions for the EMEA Region, maintaining the company’s culture and values, and ensuring adherence to the policies and practices of the company, government regulations, and laws. This role will work closely with the Corporate HR organization in the US to provide a rewarding and engaging environment for EMEA employees.

**Position Summary, Responsibilities, and Expectations**:

- The role reports to the CHRO and partners closely with the global HR and EMEA management teams.
- Provide oversight of HR policies and programs for the EMEA region including:

- Staffing / Recruiting support
- Regulations and compliance management
- Compensation management and analysis
- Benefits management
- HRIS management
- Workforce planning and development
- Organization design and development
- People development - ongoing coaching to management and HR team, and ongoing training programs for the EMEA region
- Provide counsel regarding human resource and employee issues to all levels of management and employees
- Assist in employee dispute resolution, with key attention to legal and ethical considerations, with a goal of maintaining positive employee morale and allegiance to the company
- Employment Administration - Create standard hiring and termination processes and templates by country, and develop handbooks when appropriate

**Essential Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 8 years in an HR management role across EMEA
- Working knowledge of the differences in cultures and local labor laws across EMEA
- Be able to demonstrate effective coaching, consultation, communication, and negotiation skills across all key relationships and be able to build effective working relationships.
- Pragmatic approach with experience of working with complex problems / 'grey' situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English. Proficiency in German and/or Dutch is a plus
- Ability to be strategic and hands-on in managing day-to-day assignments
- Excellent program/project management skills
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Ability to travel
- Experience in high technology
- Experience working for a US company is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
