Molecule is at the heart of the Decentralized Science (DeSci) movement where biotech and blockchain meet to democratize scientific research, earning recognition and support from key figures in the web3 world, including Vitalik Buterin, Balaji, and Juan Benet. We're known for creating VitaDAO, the first and largest biotech DAO with more than $4m in funding deployed, bio.xyz, a vital hub supporting and building biotech DAOs, the IP-NFT, a protocol bringing rights to IP and R&D data on-chain, and IPTs, ERC-20 tokens minted from IP-NFTs to allow token holders to construct and cultivate valuable IP. We’ve also recently launched Catalyst, a platform to launch, discover, and fund the best projects in DeSci.

**Your Role**:
As a Biotech Intern or Working Student you will be responsible for supporting the biotech/science team in their efforts to source and support relevant academic projects (both new and pre-existing). This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of biology, crypto, and decentralized systems while helping to build a global community of biotech innovators and web3 enthusiasts.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Attend internal and external team meetings to understand project updates and developments.
- Be responsible for tracking action items from meetings, creating detailed follow-up documentation, and disseminating tasks across teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
- Maintain effective communication channels between teams, ensuring seamless execution of project tasks.
- Use social media, newsletters, and community platforms (e.g., Discord, Telegram) to grow engagement and participation.
- Ensure smooth communication flows between key stakeholders in different DAOs and promote joint ventures that align with the company’s goals.
- Build a community of young scientists based in Berlin.
- Support in the development of technical documents, whitepapers, and presentations related to ongoing biotech and blockchain projects.
- Assist in any admin tasks assigned by members of the biotech team.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Holds a degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Basic understanding of web3, blockchain, or decentralised technologies.
- Organised and enthusiastic.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Passion for biotech innovation and a desire to contribute to groundbreaking projects.
- Based in Berlin and able to work in-person at our office in Kreuzberg.
