The Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Medicine MEVIS, headquartered in Bremen, is a world-leading and internationally recognized research and development center for computer-assistance in medicine. It pursues a patient-centered approach tailored to clinical processes to solve relevant issues in early detection, diagnosis and therapy.

**What you will do**
- Challenging tasks await you in close collaboration with the institute's leadership and our expert scientists:
- preparation of thematic reviews, analyses, concepts and position papers
- contributions to the strategic institute development
- political communication and development of science policy messages
- conception and coordination of high-quality thematic events
- coordination of external requests for interviews and invited articles
- in-depth preparation and follow-up of committee meetings
- proactive development of our intranet for internal communication
- conception and maintenance of the central institute presentation
- preparation of progress reports to funding bodies and responding to external inquiries

**What you bring to the table**
- completed university studies
- profound knowledge of the German and international science system
- excellent communication skills for working at the interfaces of science, technology and politics
- experience abroad in a scientific context as well as previous knowledge in the biomedical domain are an advantage

**What you can expect**

You will work in a young interdisciplinary institute with flat hierarchies and a variety of training and development opportunities. You can freely arrange your working hours within the framework of our trust-based working hours model and work from home if required.

The weekly working time is 39 hours.
- The position is initially limited to 2 years. However, we are looking for a long-term cooperation with you.With its focus on developing key technologies that are vital for the future and enabling the commercial utilization of this work by business and industry, Fraunhofer plays a central role in the innovation process.
