Application Services Director Dach

The **Global Application Services Delivery Director** within Alight will report to the VP Application Services Delivery.

The Application Services Delivery Director is responsible for bringing together, managing and evolving a team of approximately 80 functional and technical, specialists who provide:

- Implementation, configuration, testing, support & maintenance services for Alight developed HR and SAP-SFSF solutions encompassing a set of skills demanded by the market

**The primary function of the role will be**:

- Manage the Cloud Application Services Delivery group, as defined by the scope of the role (team grouped by technology skills) and ensuring alignment with customer expectations and the sales strategy
- Act as the face of Application Services Delivery both internally and externally in line with the scope remits
- Lead and manage all configuration, support & maintenance activities for Alight developed cloud and SFSF
- Work with the Account Management and Operations & Technology Managers to achieve client satisfaction for the services described above by ensuring proper capacity, resources and skills are available as part of the business demands, keeping the right level of balance of quality, cost and csat
- Responsible for the cost of delivery and quality of delivery of the above services
- Responsible for delivering quarter-over-quarter improvements in the cost of delivery for the above services
- Responsible for delivering quarter-over-quarter improvements in the quality of delivery for the above services which is aligned to the overall Alight quality approach
- Support Business Development efforts for new clients
- Support an ongoing quality program aligned with the overall Alight metrics program that manages the variation and performance of all Application Services Delivery activities
- Support team collaboration and information sharing
- Manage all Application Services Delivery staff through demonstrated people management skills. People management responsibilities will incorporate aligning the team to organisational priorities, development and continual focus on encouraging excellence and realising value in global collaboration.
- Have responsibility for the Application Services Delivery budget in regards to the scope defined, by forecasting resource and skill needs proactively, managing those forecasts against budgets and being responsible for driving the requirements to meet those forecasts.
- Support various business lines from a delivery service point of view whilst contributing into potential IP development, such as Fast Track solutions

**Skills & Experience**
- BA/BS or equivalent combination of education & experience
- 8/10 Years of management experience within the BPO - Payroll space.
- PC Literacy - Word, Excel and PowerPoint (advanced level).
- Ability to translate operational tasks to technical requirements where required,
- Excellent communication, teamwork & interpersonal skills.
- Cultural understanding and flexibility.
- Must be a self-driven person - a go-getter with a “can do” mentality.
- Proven customer handling and relationship building skills.
- Able to take decisions independently.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Passionate about delivering a great employee experience to clients.
- Inherent drive to improve and stretch in a realistic way.
- SOC / ISO related certification is required.
- Proficient in English language
