As **Chief Financial Officer **you are responsible for the fiscal health of our company. By building a
top-notch finance and accounting team, creating the right financial infrastructure, ensuring
revenues and expenses stay in balance, overseeing budgets and controlling functions, making
recommendations on mergers and acquisitions and obtaining funding, you will help us grow
market share and our businesses. Acting as a significant thought partner and trusted advisor
within firm leadership, you will help the company to maximize its company value by having a clear
strategic roadmap. You will also drive a diverse range of high-level activities including strategic and
operational decision-making, monitoring risk and compliance issues, identifying value-adding

Objective of this role
- Take responsibility for all cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting,

tax and financial reporting, and help drive the company’s financial strategy and
hiring needs
- Coordinate development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, as

well as reporting for the same
- Ensure cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day

accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
- Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled but

also flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination,
cross-team / departments communications, and workflows
- Comply with national and foreign financial requirements by studying existing and

new legislation and taking appropriate actionResponsibilities
- Work with our senior management to efficiently develop budget proposals,

provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance
and reporting
- Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyse internal operations,

and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement
- Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and

investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives
- Oversee HR operations by coordinating with external service providers (ex: payroll,

benefits, recruitment) and internal staff responsible for other aspects of HR
- Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures

as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls, management team,
and rest of company
- Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance

with relevant regulatory entities (ex: Financial Accounting Standards Board, Internal

Required skills and qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as written and oral

presentation skills with the ability to engage, convince, inspire and influence
different stakeholders, investors, groups, and individuals.
- Strong strategic skills and the ability to act as a visionary for a company.
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience and 5+ years in a senior financial

leadership role.
- Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning across

various countries world wide
- Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit,

extensive knowledge of the capital market, stock exchange, corporate finance,
controlling and balance sheets.Preferred skills and qualifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in finance and accounting, economics, business

administration, or a comparable course of study, with a focus on finance and
controlling, investment banking, capital markets, strategic management, etc.
- Executive experience in Enterprise Software business models and their associated

revenue recognition
- Strong control orientation, with proven hands-on experience in leading and

enhancing financial controls.
