We are a clinical-stage biotech company developing transformative adeno-associated virus (AAV) vector-mediated systemic gene therapies. Position**
- TA USP reports to the Team Leader USP
- Works on the basis of defined sub-projects covering a time span of 2-6 weeks
- Requires only a limited amount of guidance on his/her defined work packages
- understands the scope of work
- Performs routine lab work
- Works on method development and establishment
- knows, performs and optimizes all relevant techniques and practical work in the USP group
- Documentation and data evaluation is performed according to already existing templates as well as new formats developed by the TA him/herself
- Compiles the data of several experiments performed on his/her own experiments to technical summary reports
- Writes lab procedures, SOPs and other relevant technical documents
- Takes over responsibilities for material supply and equipment maintenance in the USP lab / overall FLT lab
- Point of contact for other groups for interaction with practical USP relevant questions and vice versa

**Requirements**:
**Qualification, Education and Experience Requirements**
- any “Technical Assistant” according to the German educational system (BTA, CTA, MTA, UTA, MLTA, ) with a biological/biotechnological/chemical background
- Any “Laborant” according to the German educational system (Biologie-Laborant, Chemie-Laborant,)
- Bachelor of Science with a biological, biotechnological or chemical background

**Preferred Skills**
- Profound knowledge in basic chemical work (e.g. buffer and media preparation)
- Knowledge of cellular biology
- Experienced in adherent cell culture technology
- Experienced in suspension cell culture technology
- Experience in bioreactor based work
- Basic knowledge of analytical skills as ELISA, protein quantification assays, cell culture metabolite analysis, molecular biology

**Additional Skills**
- Solid level of applied English language
- Basic knowledge on “Regeltechnik”
- Training / first experience on documentation according to GXP
- Able to work as a team player
