Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Processing of a wide variety of accounting transactions- Accounts receivable and accounts payable- Payment transactions, customer service, travel expenses, asset and general ledger accounting- Calculation, posting and maintenance of accruals- Timely and independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)- Sales tax returns for Germany as well as returns according to -50a EStG (German Income Tax Act)- Processing of statistical reports for authorities- Reporting in accordance with international group guidelines- Support with monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasts- Preparation of the Group's internal statutory reporting for the annual financial statements- Sparring partner for controlling

Essential Skills & Requirements:
- Completed commercial training or studies or successfully completed further training as a balance sheet accountant, financial accountant (M/F/d)- Strong knowledge of HGB and confidence in closing financial statements- Extensive knowledge of finance and accounting- Very good knowledge of the relevant ERP systems, ideally in dealing with Workday- Enjoys change, new tasks, tools and workflows in an international working environment- Hands-on mentality and high customer and service orientation- Strong analytical and conceptual skills and affinity for numbers- Command of the English language, both written and spoken- Independent, goal-oriented work and a high level of commitment and motivation
