Technical Product Owner Graphic Infrastructure

**Your Mission**: You will contribute to the development and integration of our first-in-class in-vehicle infotainment system MBUX. You are part of the UI enabler team tasked with bringing the MBUX UI to the latest and greatest hardware. As the UI enablement team we are responsible for ensuring that the UI that runs on all HW variants; our team gets all the latest gadgets, e.g., the different peripherals, screens and input devices before anyone else—and we do the initial bring-up of this new HW. **Sneak preview of your future tasks**: As a Product Owner of a scrum team you will take care of - Defining the feature roadmap - Leading the definition of user stories for the team - Prioritizing the team backlog in close alignment with stakeholders - Lead the planning of team's sprint and definition of sprint goal(s) - Collaborate with other product owners and system product owner from other teams - Bugs, bugs, bugs (we don’t lie on that). Lead / make sure there is a root cause analysis performed on bugs and ensure fixes of the issue falls within the team's responsibilities - Support management of 3rd party suppliers **Your Profile**: **Skills**: - Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communication Technology or a comparable qualification - Experience - Hands-on expertise as Product Owner - Familiarity of agile and classic development processes and tools - Technical Skills - Skills with embedded software development - Interest in software architecture for embedded systems - Comprehension with embedded Linux, e.g. Yocto, the linux graphic stack, BSP, devops - Proven negotiation skills on technical level - Jira and the rest of the Atlassian zoo - Personal Skills - Proficiency in problem solving and troubleshooting technical issues - Excellent organizational, time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills Ability - to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Personal initiative commitment, perseverance and resilience - Well-developed communication and teamwork skills - Aspiration to engineering excellence - Familiar with working in a large company - Working language is English, German is a plus **Why us?**: - A chance to work on a new generation of Infotainment Systems, which will power millions of cars - An international, interdisciplinary software hub, which is part of the Mercedes Benz AG - Great company values that we are passionate about and live by every day at work.
