Technical Support Operator

Main tasks for the department include: Providing direct support to service technicians in troubleshooting and repair tasks, Technical planning of down turbines, SW focus including remote software upload, turbine performance, creating VGAs (guides to technicians), planning for stopped turbines, providing answers to technical questions internal and external customers and taking part in customer meetings.
Providing high quality technical support to (region Central) Service organizations to reduce turbine downtime and performance.
Being a part of Technical Support (region Central), you will be included in a high experience and dedicated team, taking leadership for implementing Vestas strategy, supporting the Service and Construction organizations and local business units with technical knowledge, secure customer focus and safety.

As a **Technical Support Operator **you will be responsible for:

- Handling stopped turbines on daily basis in a shift plan
- Advanced remote troubleshooting
- Technical planning
- Supporting technicians in troubleshooting
- Participate in stopped turbine calls
- On-site support in troubleshooting of difficult-to-solve/first-of-its-kind issues
- Evaluating technical customer questions and reports, and providing answers and presenting technical matters at customer meetings
- Updating Task lists and documentation
- Providing timely responses and supporting the Service and Construction organizations
- Handling requests in ticketing systems
- Being the link between Technical Support (region Central) and Technology R&D
- Ensuring technical knowledge is shared within the team.

**Your qualificaiotns**:

- Strong communication skills in English, both oral and in writing
- Electrical or mechanical education + experience from the wind industry or relevant technical education, such as: Electrical, Mechanical or Marine Engineering
- Several years in the field in troubleshooting or other technical experience - preferably within Vestas.

**Your competencies**:

- Professional PC skills - SAP, Microsoft office suite, salesforce
- Good knowledge of WTG control systems (VOB, Toolkit, VTM, etc.)
- Ability to participate effectively as part of an (region Central) team
- Ability to organise and prioritise tasks
- Proven ability to work both with limited supervision and in teams
- Good pragmatical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and a solid commitment to quality.
