Customs Specialist

Independent preparation of electronic import and/or export declarations via ATLAS, practical experience required
- Observance of export control regulations (e.g. embargoes/dual-use/compliance)
- Preparation of the necessary documents for shipping and customs clearance in compliance with legal requirements (EUR.1; ATR; T2L)
- Independent classification of new products into the customs tariff
- Correspondence with customs authorities
- General commercial activities and invoicing to our customers.
- Contact person for internal and external customers in customs related inquiries

**Qualifications**
- Commercial training, preferably as a forwarding agent or comparable training
- Several years of professional experience in customs clearance or as a customs declarant
- Good knowledge of the Customs Code, ZK-DVO, UZK and the most important foreign trade regulations
- Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Good office skills and experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP and ATLAS software
- Your profile is rounded off by an engaging and confident manner
