**Clariness is looking for a Senior Medical Copywriter (f/m/d) based in Berlin, Hamburg or remote within Germany.***:

**As a Senior Medical Copywriter, you would be responsible for**:

- Reading and understanding study protocols - incl. protocol amendments, patient populations and indication.
- Developing patient personas for different therapeutic areas/indications to help the development of content creation.
- Translating complex scientific concepts and protocols into easily understandable language for lay audiences - create HCP/sites and patient-friendly materials.
- Creating content for study materials (print materials, websites, etc.) based on clinical trial protocols - explain the purpose, design, and significance of a clinical trial.
- Tailoring content to different target audiences and adapt the tone and level of technical detail to match the knowledge and needs of the intended readers (i.e. healthcare professionals, patients, etc.)
- Editing copy and performing quality checks (QCs) to ensure accuracy and consistency - proofread materials to minimize errors.
- Implementing client feedback and discuss feedback with the client.
- Managing and prioritizing copy-related tasks from multiple projects/studies based on deadlines, ensuring content is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
- Collaborating closely with graphic designers to contribute ideas for creative concepts/study identities.

**We would like you to have**:

- 5 years of experience in Medical Copywriting with a Portfolio and/or example of work.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field of study like Healthcare, Life Sciences, or similar field; (Scientific) Journalism is a plus.
- Ability to write (scientific/medical content) and adapt texts to various target groups, such as patients, healthcare professionals, and pharma companies, as well as having the skill to translate science into marketing and patient-friendly content.

- Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign is a plus.
- Excellent English skills (C2 or native).
