Ensures personnel are trained on job related safety standards; to order, receive, store, issue and inventory stocked items; to operate various handling equipment, including forklifts and cargo trucks of various ratings; to perform operator maintenance on assigned equipment and vehicles. Manages resale food and beverage and supply inventories for all 86 Force Support Squadron food resale facilities, using online ordering systems. Performs analysis of historical usage rates, considers factors such as projected sales, seasonal demand, and special events to develop warehouse par-stock levels. Places orders with local and stateside vendors to maintain par-stock levels in support of each activities' operations and monitors those shipments from the stateside Prime Vendor (this was moved from last sentence). Advises management of stock shortages and finds possible substitutions. Processes orders and receipt of goods using multiple automated electronic systems (i.e., Food Trak, Internet Based Purchasing System, Government Purchase Card System, Subsistence Total Order and Receipt Electronic System, "e-Sysco" Prime Vendor order submission system, and Enterprise Environmental Safety and Occupational Health-Management Information System). Provides System Administration functions for applicable food and beverage management system. **Requirements**: **Conditions of employment**: - Incumbent must be physically in Germany before a firM/Final job offer can be received. - This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results. - Must have and maintain a valid U.S. and USAREUR driver’s license. - This position requires the incumbent to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. **Qualifications**: The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is U.S. Citizens and legal U.S. residents in Germany.
