The PhD student position belongs to the DFG-funded Research Unit FOR5903 “Sustainable Rurbanity - Resources, Society, and Regulatory Systems”. The salary is based on the German public service grade **TVL-E13**(65% of a regular working week, corresponding to 25,87 hours per week).

**Your profile**
- Master’s degree in the field of Agricultural Sciences or Geosciences or related discipline (rated with at least a “good” result)
- First experiences with socio-economic data processing and indicator development
- Experiences with automated processing of large spatial data sets
- High personal commitment to working in an international and intercultural environment
- Ability to work independently but also reliably in a teamSpoken and written proficiency in English is a prerequisite, language skills in German and/or French are appreciated.
