Parquet Flooring Master

**This position is located full time in Wiesbaden, Germany, and is currently under bid**

As the certified Parkettleger-Meister, you will be responsible for ensuring all flooring operations and maintenance are conducted. You will ensure floor layers/workers install tile, carpeting, hardwood flooring, soft tiles and linoleum-type products made of vinyl and rubber for interior systems.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Cut, fit and install hardwood flooring and various types of underlayment to ensure smooth, level surfaces for the finished floor.
- Repair or refinish damaged or worn-out floor surfaces. This involves tasks such as removing old flooring, preparing surfaces for new flooring and installing new floor materials.
- Responsible for checking and verifying as needed all flooring work orders to include inspection ensuring floors are cleaned and to correct any imperfections.
- Required to provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Certificate of tradesmen for Parquet Flooring Meister/ Master Carpenter
- Proven experience as a certified Parquet Flooring Meister/ Master Carpenter.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Parquet Flooring Meister/ Master Carpenter
- Solid experience in preparing and laying parquet flooring and carpeting.
- Able to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluency in German and English.
