In this role, you will be responsible for actively shaping our products and solutions in the Plant Automation and Distributed Control Systems domain. You will work to enhance our high-quality standards and take charge of designing, creating, and maintaining partially and fully automated tests in close collaboration with product development, support, and documentation teams. Your expertise will involve using established test conception and specification methodologies. Additionally, you will independently develop test cases and plan feature, regression, and performance tests. **Your responsibilities**:

- Actively contribute to the improvement and innovation of our products and solutions in the Plant Automation and Distributed Control Systems domain, ensuring continuous development and optimization
- Play a crucial role in maintaining our exceptionally high-quality standards by employing meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive testing approaches to deliver top-notch products to our customers
- Design and manage both automated and manual tests in close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Conduct comprehensive manual and automated tests, carefully evaluate test results, and manage the required test environments to enable smooth and effective testing processes
- Provide valuable support to our L1 and L2 support teams to promptly and effectively resolve customer issues
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of component libraries, sample projects, and product libraries to promote efficiency and seamless project execution
- Conduct workshops and foster internal knowledge transfer to keep team members up to date with developments and best practices
- Play a crucial role in managing and prioritizing reported issues by providing timely effective solutions and performing escalations for critical issues to ensure quick resolution and customer satisfaction

**Your background**:

- Completed degree in a relevant STEM field or equivalent several years of relevant professional experience
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in automation technology, computer science, or electrical engineering with a focus on software testing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and scripting languages like Python, knowledge of C++ is advantageous
- Experience in process control engineering and/or automation technology, as well as experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework), are advantageous
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system is beneficial
- Innovation-driven with a team-oriented mindset and proactive problem-solving skills to work independently and goal-oriented
- Analytical skills and curiosity to understand complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Experience in programming, bug tracking, ticketing, and workflow tools is desirable
- Excellent German or English language skills to communicate effectively in an international environment
