Digital Lab Solution projects are typically fast paced and diverse in terms of technology stack. For each project, a dedicated team is established that matches the specific requirements of the project. Digital Lab Solutions staff therefore operates in a highly dynamic environment.

We are looking for a **Product Owner (M/F/d)** for our **Digital Lab Solutions** in Waldbronn, Germany which primary responsibility is to determine the requirements needed to meet Agilent’s goals for customer-focused solution development.

You are able to break down the requirements into clear tasks that development teams can take and build into software solutions and provide detailed acceptance criteria to enable both the correct implementation and proper quality assurance. Other responsibilities include helping with team project management.

**Tasks**
- Assign story priorities and perform regular backlog grooming
- Ensure each project’s success through shared project management including periodic progress updates, and clear communication of actions and owners
- Understand and evangelize the proper implementation of software features to enable our customers to align with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate across multiple product lines to understand the elements that might be missing or incomplete but are required to form a holistic customer solution
- Act as a user proxy with an intimate knowledge of related user workflows and needs
- Be a shepherd for developer progress and an oracle for developer questions and concerns

**Qualifications**:
This role will benefit from a hybrid background in the sciences and software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Computer Science, Engineering; an advanced degree in Science and/or Computer Science is a plus
- 5+ years of professional experience with at least 2 years in the role of Product Manager or Product Owner or equivalent
- Experience/Understanding of SW products in Cloud, SaaS
- Experience with user-interface design (UI & UX)
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with laboratory scientific analyses
- Experience managing projects a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
