**Testing & Laboratory Specialist (M/F/d) - Low Voltage Switchgear**:

In this position, you will contribute to the planning and execution of tests on different low voltage switchgear using your knowledge of international standards and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details of, test sequences and testing procedures. You can expect a varied job with a balanced mix of theory and practice: you will draw up test plans, carry out laboratory tests and then document your results. Your diverse range of tasks offers you excellent development prospects.

**This position reports to**:
R&D Lab Team Lead

**Your responsibilities**:

- Participation in performance of type tests and approval tests for low-voltage switchgear: generation of test setups; definition of testing parameters based on national and international standards; performance, documentation and evaluation of tests on own responsibility
- Active participation in R&D project teams
- Coordination and supervision of tests in external labs
- Further development and optimization of existing test facilities
- Organization and performance of sampling tests within product maintenance

**Your background**:

- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge of project management as well as of the relevant standards (products and safety)
- An enthusiastic and team-oriented personality as well as diligent and autonomous approach to work
- Ability to cope with pressure
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (University or Technical College)
- Fluency in German and English
