Tangany, based in Munich, is a highly innovative technology company with a market-leading B2B solution for the custody of digital assets on the blockchain (e.g. cryptocurrencies, tokenized assets, NFTs). Our solution is already used by more than 40 institutional customers. Tangany is regulated by the German federal financial supervisory authority, BaFin.
Using our modern blockchain API, we enable our customers to easily and securely integrate blockchain functionalities into their systems. This white-label solution saves high development costs and time, enabling fast market access and easy usability for end users. Regulatory requirements can be covered for appropriate assets via Tangany's crypto custody license if required.
Tasks
- Develop, implement, and manage the cybersecurity framework for the company's cloud infrastructure in the Azure security stack, following the compliance and regulation standards
- Proactively investigate and challenge the security and integrity of our API systems, front-end portals, and other cloud software, emphasizing protecting data and ensuring uptime
- Collaborate closely with our development, IT, and infosec teams to assess potential security risks via Azure Defender, Sentinel, and Security Dashboard and create strategies to mitigate them in a timely manner
- Be the point of contact for any security breaches, promptly managing situations and analyzing them to prevent future incidents
- Encourage a culture of security awareness within the technical staff and foster an environment where security is integrated into every phase of the development and operational processes
**Requirements**:
- Demonstrable experience in surveilling and managing security policies in Azure cloud environments, encompassing both implementation and ongoing management
- Proven track record of setting up and managing security policies within the Azure security stack based on industry standards (MITRE)
- Certifications include Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate, and Security Operations Analyst Associate.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, etc.) and CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Report the company information security posture to compliance and for internal and external audits.
- Proficiency in establishing, managing, and troubleshooting security controls, security incident event management, and network protection for complex networks
- Robust knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, data protection, risk management, and incident management
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex security issues into business risks
- Proficiency in English. German is a plus
