The work model for the role is: onsite / #LI-Onsite

**Key responsibilities**

This role part of the HSE site organization in Heidelberg. Main stakeholders are Production, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality and R&D.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Facilitating HSE risk assessment conducted by the line management and ensuring all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.
- Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
- Supporting the HSE Manager in reporting progress with respect to the implementation of the group-level HSE objectives and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), as required.
- Assisting the line managers and supervisors in understanding their obligations, liabilities, and requirements for role fulfillment, as per local HSE laws and group/business-specific requirements.
- Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of groupwide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Certified ‘Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit’ acc. to ASiG
- Completed technical vocational training or B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering studies
- At least two years of professional experience in occupational safety
- Fluent in English and German
