**The Position**:
As Senior Technical Assistant in the field of Drug Metabolism Sciences (DMS), you will be responsible as LC MS expert for the independent implementation of authorization-relevant metabolism work packages. In this context, you will work in the laboratory, with a focus on LC-MSn-based structure education, on in vivo and in vitro studies and help to elucidate the drug metabolism of developing substances.

This position is part time eligible with 70 %.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- The structure elucidation, identification, and quantification of metabolites based on LC-MSn data and LC-based radioactivity data will be one of your key tasks.
- In addition to the data evaluation, you will document all your work according to laboratory standards and cooperate in the preparation of approval-relevant reports in English. For example, you will create method descriptions, illustrations and tables according to internal specifications.
- In addition, you will critically question existing processes, cooperate in their continuous improvement or help to develop new work processes. You will be responsible for the independent technical support of various high-resolution LC-MS systems in combination with radioactivity detection to ensure the performance permanently.

**Requirements**:

- Very good knowledge of sample preparation of biological matrices, high-resolution mass spectrometry, ion mobility and interpretation of MSn spectra for structure elucidation
- Experience in practical work in a bio-chemical laboratory and independent, self-responsible working methods
- Basic knowledge of drug metabolism
- Strong ability for teamwork, self-motivation, performance-oriented thinking and flexibility to work together within the group Strong communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English in both written and spoken language
