**How you will CELLebrate**
- Leading the development and implementation of advanced SOC, SOE, SOH and battery modeling algorithms for the BMS of our energy storage system
- Use of MATLAB Simulink for modeling the BESS in terms of losses, temperatures and lifetime.
- Working closely with hardware engineers to ensure effective integration of the algorithms into the BMS/EMS
- Develop and maintain embedded software for the BMS/EMS of the energy storage system
- Deepen understanding of the overall functions and software implementations of the BMS/EMS
- Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure effective integration of algorithmic solutions into the BMS, including communication protocols such as CAN and Modbus
- Perform software functional safety analysis and design to ensure compliance with ISO 26262, Cyber Security ISO/SAE21434 and other relevant safety standards
**What you need for our CELLebration**
- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a related field
- At least 10 years of proven experience in embedded software development, especially with a focus on BMS/EMS and algorithm development
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python
- Extensive knowledge of MATLAB Simulink for the modeling and simulation of battery systems
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and the development of embedded systems
- Knowledge of battery technologies, charging algorithms and energy storage principles
- In-depth knowledge of development processes according to ISO 26262 and ASPICE
- Previous work experience in grid-connected or off-grid energy storage projects
