In addition to learning and growing with a world-class team, you will build a destination for everyone across Europe to put money to work. ***: **WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**: - This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor and grow within a fast-paced environment. - Ensure our day-to-day tax compliance. This means that you will help prepare our monthly VAT returns in Germany. This will require close cooperation with our Accounting Team. You will check data and identify process improvements. - Our day-to-day tax compliance is also international. We have tax obligations in multiple European countries. You will gradually take over the preparation of international tax returns (incl. VAT) together with our international tax advisors. - Our day-to-day tax compliance also consists of some unique tax obligations you may not have heard of yet. We are a financial institution and also pay international financial transaction taxes and withholding taxes to German and US tax authorities. You will support those processes and potentially deep dive into complex data with us. **WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**: - A professional with a strong tax background in the professional tax sector. This means that you have completed training as a "Steuerfachangestellten" (m/w/d) or "Steuerfachwirt" (m/w/d). - You have worked in the professional tax sector and want to try something outside law firms, tax advisors or big corporations and want to work with a young and dynamic team. - Self starter with a "hands-on" approach, high attention to detail and the drive to work in a fast-paced, ever changing, high-growth organization. - Good knowledge of HGB accounting principles. - Good Excel skills. - Experience in SAP S/4HANA will be a plus. - Experience in financial services / banking sectors or a fintech startup will be a plus but it's not required.
