Computational Biologist (M/F/d) About the role: Your responsibilities include: - Development and implementation of a data platform for public and reference data- Integration of literature and competitive intelligence data from public sources and vendors- Implementation and setup of lean LLM-powered NLP solutions to mine literature data- Prototyping visual analytics solutions for insight generation- Together with our digital partner organization develop a lean ETL process to standardized data ingestions- Development of a data dissemination concept for all ingested data in relevant data access patterns- Strengthen external visibility and scientific excellence through publishing / presenting work in reputed journals and conference/workshop venues and engaging with the scientific community About you: - Formal training in Computational Biology, Computer Science, Biology, Physics, Statistics, related technical discipline.- Master and ideally some years of relevant research experience in developing data products and data integration solutions aswell as a sincere interest for computational life sciences.- Highly creative person with outstanding problem-solving skills to tackle complex analysis tasks in a timely fashion.- Strong full-stack developer with focus on python, in-depth database expertise with a focus on postgres, ETL frameworks. Exceptional programming skills in Python are a prerequisite.
